This is due to the conditions of which the head gasket has failed and the circumstances the car has been involved with since. A car that has the problem noticed early and is unused between the time of failure and arrival at our garage will have a greatly reduced clean-up operation than a car that has been driving around with a failed head gasket for some time. As such, the prices below are intended as a guideline for common failures.

Please note that on ALL head gasket replacements we skim the cylinder heads and replace the cylinder head bolts. This ensures a far better seal and greatly reduces the chance of another failure.
